Tracy Martin is the owner and manager of 2TM Consulting Engineers, LLC. Tracy is actively involved in every aspect of the company's operations, including contract management and negotiation, financial reporting, and employee management. She has over 30 years of experience working with a diverse range of industries in varying sizes. Due to her exceptional ability to develop key client relationships, she has earned a highly respected reputation in the Austin business community. She has an unwavering work ethic and dedication to excellence.
Mr. Timothy J. Martin, P.E.
Tim Martin is president and the principal engineer at 2TM Consulting Engineers. Tim has extensive pavement engineering experience, specializing in the design, performance, management, evaluation and forensic investigation of pavement structures. His application of design principles and research has optimized pavement designs for state highway design build projects, municipal pavement design, aviation and port pavement designs. An industry expert in the analysis and problem solving of pavement performance issues, he has led investigations into premature pavement failures for many clients across all market sectors. He has taught flexible pavement design to local agencies utilizing publicly available state agency software. He is a current member of ACI committees 325 and 330 and has contributed to those concrete pavement specifications. He is a frequent presenter at associations and technical conferences applying his research and case studies.
Our History
Prior experience before becoming President of 2TM Consulting Engineers, Mr. Martin was a Principal Engineer at CTLGroup for 7 years conducting forensic engineering for both asphalt and concrete pavements.
While at CTLGroup, Mr. Martin provided litigation support for counsel of many prominent paving contractors, facility owners and government agencies. He also was lead pavement engineer for the design of both flexible and rigid pavements for many design/build projects. Prior to his experience with CTLGroup, Mr. Martin was the Principal Investigator for the Southern Region of the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Long Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) program. He also held positions as Division Manager, Business Development Director, and Operations Manager of the pavement engineering group for Fugro, an international geotechnical engineering consulting firm for over 18 years.
Tim is a diligent manager who delivers on both project objectives and customer expectations. He is a leader who knows how to motivate his team to accomplish the job at hand while fostering an environment of personal and professional growth for his employees. Tim knows how to provide exceptional customer service while watching the company bottom line.
