ODPT Structural Evaluation

Texas Engineering Firm F-22297

Mr. Timothy Martin managed the structural evaluation of 3,500 miles of the National Highway System in Oklahoma for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.  The project consisted of deflection testing, ground penetrating radar, and material sampling to determine the pavement layer, its thickness and structural capacity.

The data and resulting analysis of the pavement structure allowed ODOT to target sections for rehabilitation as well as apply pavement preservation strategies to candidate sections not requiring rehabilitation.
